Today we learn how to make a Light and Creamy Cheesecake, courtesy of Preppy Kitchen!
His creamy and fluffy and easy to make cheesecake recipe is perfectly sweet with a light and delicate texture, wrapped in a scrumptious Graham cracker and toasted pecan crust. Getting the perfect no crack bake is easier than you think and the end result is so beautiful it almost doesn’t need any topping! But of course we will always add a topping to make the perfect dessert.
We start off by making a super easy Graham cracker crust. If you don’t have any Graham Crackers around, you can basically use any cookie you have lying around (Not that cookies will be lying around for very long in my house!). Even Oreos or Digestives will work just fine.
You add about 16 Graham Crackers, depending on how thick you want your crust. In my opinion, thicker is always better! Then add the toasted pecans. It is important to always toast your pecans. It makes a huge difference to the flavor of your baking when you toast the nuts.
Add some sugar to the mixture if you are using Graham Crackers. If you use a sweet cookie for the crust, then you might want to reduce the sugar a bit. Then blend the whole mixture into a fine crumb. When it is nice and crumbly you will add some melted butter. It acts as a binding agent so if your mixture is a little bit dry, then add a little bit more.
