After a few mega sugar crashes, I had to make a serious change in order to keep this series moving forward. To be honest, I love sweets but I generally craft “healthier” versions at home so I can still satisfy my sweet tooth without feeling the ill effects of so much sugar. Let me know what dessert you would like to see me attempt to make healthy next?

— Recipe —

Kabocha Doughnut
-1.5 cups of roasted squash
-4-5 TBL of butter
-1 cup of milk
-1 Tbl of honey
-1 Tbl of yeast
-2 eggs
-4-5 cups of flour

Apple Coconut Glaze
-1 to 2 cups of Coconut Butter
-juice of 1 to 2 apples
-1 tsp of gelatin
-3 to 4 tablespoons of sugar
-1 tsp of cinnamon

Coffee Glaze
–1 to 2 cups of Coconut Butter
-1 cup of coffee
-1 tsp of gelatin
– 3 to 4 tablespoons of sugar
-1/2 tsp salt
