David and Anna Posey, the husband and wife team behind Chicago’s Elske not only know how to make good food, but they know where to go to eat (lots of) it too. From high-end bar food at The Loyalist, to Mexican inspired dishes at Todos Santos, cocktails at Estereo, and bone-in pork sandwiches at Jim’s Original, David, Anna, and their friends go on a marathon night of eating in the Windy City. They come across great mezcal cocktails along the way, fueling them up for a late night meal of pizza and chicken wings with secret Friggin’ Valley ranch (it’s just Hidden Valley). With a surplus of good friends and good food, it’s clear that it’s no coincidence that elske is Danish for love.
